Cypress & MOD Table Leg Features & Benefits

July 8th, 2022 by rebeccav

As trends and seasonal activity shift towards broader use in the marine and RV industries, flexibility and functionality are top of the list for boat and RV users. When choosing products and upgrades, more customers are considering multi-purpose and space-saving models in addition to durability.

As the focal point for meals, games, and socializing, a sturdy yet stylish table system is a necessity for those spending more time on the road or water. A table system that performs well and stands up to wear should integrate seamlessly into the space and feel like a true part of an RV or boat rather than a last-minute addition.

For a table system to weather the seasons and endure the constant motion of a boat or RV, it must start with the foundation—a durable, high-quality table leg is an essential part of a sturdy table leg system. In addition to structural integrity, the limited spaces of boats and RVs require flexibility—the ability to rearrange a space for different needs is becoming more and more important as people spend more time traveling and enjoying recreational activities.

Explore the features and benefits of two of our top-selling table leg systems below and discover high-performance table leg options that will ensure a secure table in any application or environment.

MOD Table Leg System

To expand movement possibilities in limited quarters, the MOD Table Leg System can redefine spaces, acting as a dining table, desk, crafting space, or more depending on where it’s placed. The leg can seamlessly change positions while maintaining only one mounting location. Plus, with a second wall base, customers can create additional flexibility to move a tabletop wherever it’s needed most for various activities.

Key Features and Benefits:

  • The mounting plate on the wall allows for placement in areas with limited floor space.
  • A robust, plastic shim can provide added depth as needed to allow proper rotation off the wall.
  • The leg is height adjustable with a 360° swivel to go from eating to working, and more.
  • Easy, quick removal makes the system perfect to stow away when the table is not being used.

Cypress™ Table Leg Kit

The Cypress™ Table Leg is engineered with durable aluminum to ensure a secure, wobble-free surface, even when used in a single leg application. Just like the tree it was named after, the sturdy, weather-resistant Cypress Leg will last through the seasons and keep steady for years to come.

Features and Benefits:

  • The 2.5″ diameter heavy duty leg combined with the large floor base provides a wobble-free system.
  • The added locking feature on the twist-lock floor base ensures a superior connection.
  • Quick, easy removal makes the system perfect to stow away when more space is needed.

Bicycling Activities in DongGuan City, China

April 6th, 2016 by rebeccav

Family Riding BikesITC’s Asia staff organized a bicycling day for visiting US staff and Asia’s staff and families, at SongShan Lake in DongGuan City in February.

SongShan Lake is a large lake near DongGuan and a great place to ride bicycles during the Spring season. The weather was very comfortable and the water in the lake was very clear. The blue sky was reflected in the lake and new green grass and flowers were growing near the shore.  Breathing in the fresh air of spring gave an appreciation of the environmental effort and sustainable development the government in Guangdong Province is pursuing after the environmental deterioration experienced due to the rapid economic development between 1990 and 2010.  ITC in both the US and Asia are committed to improving the environment of our planet wherever we are located.

Please consider riding a bike or walking more often during the coming months.

ITC Donates to Michigan CASA

December 23rd, 2015 by rebeccav

CASA Office_MaiaRecently ITC donated three Maia desk lamps to the new Michigan CASA office located in Grand Rapids. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. The advocates are volunteers that have been trained and are appointed by a judge to represent a child in family court. They advocate for the best interests of the child and spend time learning and talking with the child about their situation. Advocates become the voice of the child in court and help to prevent children from being placed back into unhealthy or dangerous situations. There are over 14,000 abused and neglected children not being served in Michigan alone. ITC strongly supports the work CASA is doing and is looking forward to helping with future donations, volunteer efforts, etc.

ITC/elio Donate Lights to Local Halloween Event

November 5th, 2015 by rebeccav

Glow In the Park 2015It was a chilly fall evening, but there was still a large turn out for the 2nd annual Glow In The Park in Douglas, Michigan. ITC donated it’s newest product introduction, the Versicolor RGB flexible lighting. The set-up included a 20′ x 40′ tent wrapped in Versicolor and the color changing was controlled by an app downloaded to the organizer, Erin Wilkinson’s phone. Erin stated that the party was a “smashing success” and that they had “over 600 people through the front entrance in the first 30 minutes”. The ITC team was proud and excited to contribute and participate in this local event and can’t wait to see what the Glow In The Park team comes up with next year. Thank you to all the employees that helped plan, set-up and tear down for this event and thank you to Erin Wilkinson for providing us with this great publicity. Click here to see the light in action.
